ADMISSIONS

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS:
​There are no formal student prerequisites for Evolve's Dental Office Administration Courses. 
Recommended prerequisites    listed below are important to success in the program, as well as within the workplace.

Solid Understanding of the English Language

Proficiency in Basic Math:

 Intermediate Computer and Technology Skills: ​​          
- Typing Speed minimum 35 wpm

​TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS
This online program requires students have access to a computer with  Internet Access,  Microsoft Word  and  Adobe Reader.

​Software Compatibility - A  Window’s based Operating System is necessary for compatibility with the  Dentrix Learning Edition Software CD used in this program  (iPad and Mac are not compatible).

CAREER OUTLOOK

Career Opportunities 
Work in a General or Specialty Dental Practice as  a Dental Receptionist or Administrator.  With industry experience move into positions such as Office Manager, Account Manager, Treatment
Coordinator  or Dental Consultant.

Salary Expectations
New graduates may expect to earn $17-$20/hour. Wages will be depending on office location and job duties assigned. Dental Administration offers many career advancement opportunities allowing employees to increase their salary with experience. 

Work Schedule
Dental offices operate varying hours allowing the opportunity for weekday, evening or weekend shifts as well as full time or part time employment. ​
